Raktmokshan

Raktmokshan is a traditional Ayurvedic bloodletting therapy used for detoxification and treatment of various diseases. It is one of the five main procedures of Panchakarma and involves controlled removal of vitiated blood to restore balance in the body.

Types of Raktmokshan Therapy

Leech Therapy Procedure

1. Raktmokshan/Hirudotherapy

During the procedure of applying leeches (blood becomes vitiated or there comes application of leeches), it is also known as (Hirudotherapy).

2. Cupping Therapy

Cupping therapy (also Raktmokshan) can be used or achieved, diseases like, (charak) (abnormal growth), (kshuda) (tuberculosis), (kushtha) (skin diseases), (various diseases) (skin) disorders, krimi, (kandu) (itching), (vicharchika) (eczema), (visarp) (erysipelas), (psoriasis), (gulma) (abdominal tumor), (vrana) (wounds), (sinus), (vitiligo), (pliharoga) (spleen disorders), (kushtha) (leprosy), (skin diseases), (eczema), (chronic liver diseases), (netra roga) (eye diseases), (depression) of various chronic disorders like diabetes, anemia, psoriasis, eczema, neuralgia, rheumatism, gout, tumors, etc. for cancer management.

3. Post-Procedure Information
